And if you've ever dreamt of seeing iconic JDM machines under the neon glow of a Japanese bayside night, then we've got an event that will ignite your engines!

What to Expect: Your Night with Subaru Legends

Mark your calendars for an unmissable spectacle: the Subaru Style/Wangan Midnight Meeting! This isn't just any car meet; it's a rare night gathering, organized by Subaru Style magazine. Imagine a sprawling bayside shopping mall parking lot filled with every kind of Subaru imaginable – from pristine classics like the GC8 Impreza and SVX, to highly tuned WRX STIs, Foresters, and BRZs, all showcasing their owners' unique passion and modifications.

This extraordinary event takes place on February 7th, 2026, kicking off at 18:00 (6:00 PM) and running deep into the night until 00:00 (midnight). It's the perfect opportunity to witness the vibrant pulse of Japan's automotive subculture as the city lights illuminate these incredible vehicles.

Practical Information for Visitors

The meeting point is the Festival Walk Soga Shared Parking Lot 2 (フェスティバルウォーク蘇我 共用第二駐車場), located in Chiba Prefecture, just southeast of Tokyo. Getting there is straightforward:

  • By Train: Take the JR Keiyo Line or JR Uchibo Line to Hon-Chiba Station. From there, it's a short taxi ride or a local bus journey to Festival Walk Soga. Be mindful of your return trip as trains in Japan do not run 24h.
  • By Car: If you're renting a car (a fantastic way to explore Japan!), navigate to the Festival Walk Soga.

What to Bring:

  • Camera: This is a photographer's dream! You'll want to capture the unique lighting and incredible cars.
  • Warm Clothing: February nights in Chiba can be chilly, so layer up to stay comfortable.
  • Comfortable Shoes: You'll be doing a lot of walking as you explore the myriad of vehicles.
  • Respect & Curiosity: Engage with fellow enthusiasts (many are happy to share details about their cars, even with language barriers!), but always be respectful of the vehicles and the venue rules.
